Value Statment
As a woman, a student, and an individual, I possess qualities that define me as intelligent and caring. While I perceive the world through my own lens, I recognize that we all experience emotions and grapple with the unknown. Every human seeks to expand their knowledge to impact the world, and every woman has strength and beauty that she employs to care for others. However, despite knowing who I am supposed to be and how I should I act, I still question my true identity.

It is through my art that I have come to realize my passion and purpose. Despite the preconceived notions and expectations surrounding the term “artist,” I have found my own way to embody its characteristics. Though the future scares me, I remain confident as I travel through life’s uncertainties. I am driven by my passion, which helps me not only appreciate the people around me but also gain a better understanding of myself and my place in the world. Through my 21 years of life I have figured out that the most successful way to articulate my thoughts and feelings is through form. Be it though a ceramics sculpture, a wooden armature, or a dark chocolate cake, my hands are the conduit for my consciousness. Among these mediums, clay had brought me the utmost satisfaction. It is a pure and organic material that I transform into a lens though which others can experience my view of the world.

When I am sculpting, I am tapping into my past and present experiences, my emotions become ammunition as I reflect on things that bring me joy, sadness, or confusion. My goal is to use my art to enable others to perceive the world as I do and to gain a new perspective on life.
I believe that every facet of life is an expression of infinite love, and it is my passion to share this belief with humanity through my art.
